Kshetrapala means “pala” (ruler or guardian) of the kshetra (region or land). He protects the entire temple complex. In a broader sense the body is the Kshetra the field; and the one who resides in it as the Antaryamin is kshetrajna). They are entrusted with the task of safe guarding a Kshetra (or a temple) against dangers coming from all the eight spatial directions. Worship is offered to Kshetrapala prior to important rituals, praying for efficient and safe conclusion of that ritual.

Sri Subrahmanya Swami (also worshipped as Murugan, Skanda, Karthikeya) is a son of Lord Shiva and the brother of Ganesha. He rides a peacock and symbolizes strength. His consorts are Valli and Devayani. He is also known as the God of war and slayed the demon Tarakasura.

The New England Shirdi Sai Parivaar, (www.nessp.org) is one of the largest Sai Baba temples in the US, built on a 28 acre land. The temple currently worships the following deities:
